Thanks, MM Hi there; I forgot to have mention that I have done a reboot before my personal files are kept but every program has been removed;; which was around may 30th to first week of june; When I redownloaded kaspersky I believe it was the 2016 I\m not sure if my drivers are making it crash?

I too have been using Kaspersky PURE happily for several years and just renewed my 2-year subscription.
In the second case I have problems with updating metro applications, which updates can not be installed without starting the Windows Firewall service.
